Food paper is a\u00a0very common product, with which they are packaged, meat, cold cuts and cheeses from the supermarket counter. This specific food paper, also known as polyethylene paper<\/strong>, is usually composed of coextruded cellulose and the addition of a polyethylene (PE) film, which serves as a functional barrier for contact with food.<\/p>\n

The compostable solution was found thanks to the collaboration between the company Matech<\/strong><\/a> of Padua and A.R.T. Cart S.p.A.<\/a><\/strong> of Moggio Udinese, is a bioplastic film, consisting of a biopolymer replacement of polyethylene and only 12 microns thick<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
